Trying NOT to Be Religious

Picture
Are you seeking a religion or
are you seeking to know God?

One of the themes that run through out the Bible is the teaching that God wants us to seek & know Him.
To please Him we are told to
"Believe that God exists and He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."

Picture
"God has made it plain how to live, what to do,

what God is looking for in men and women.
What else does the Eternal ask of you
But to live justly and to love kindness

and to walk with your True God in all humility?"

Picture
This is what the Lord says:
“Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom,

or the powerful boast in their power,

or the rich boast in their riches.
But those who wish to boast

            should boast in this alone:
that they truly know Me and understand that I am the Lord

            who demonstrates unfailing love

and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth,
and that I delight in these things.

        I, the Lord, have spoken."

As a church family,
we do not come close to being perfect or having all the answers--
however we do sincerely seek to create an atmosphere and framework
in which you can worship, learn, and be encouraged
as we seek to know God.
